No matter where you are in your academic career, the Galveston Campus Student Enrollment Services team is available to help you chart your course. If you are applying as License Option, you must major in Marine Transportation, Marine Biology, Marine Engineering Technology or Marine Sciences, or any Graduate Studies-LO Program.
Engineering at Galveston
Offering College of Engineering degrees on the Galveston Campus. Students who are Computer Science, Interdisciplinary Engineering - Engineering for Marine Environment Track, or Ocean Engineering majors can participate in the Drill and Ceremonies Corps of Cadets Program.
Apply to Texas A&M Maritime Academy
All Maritime Academy Applicants must apply to Texas A&M University before applying to Texas A&M Maritime Academy. All applicants must fill out all sections of the application, including their information, choice of Maritime Academy program and intended major.
Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps & Strategic Sealift Midshipman Program Application
Applicants to the NROTC or SSMP programs must also submit the Authorization for the Release of Records and Information Form and NROTC College Program Application. Completed forms must be emailed to admissions@tamug.edu.

Additional Available Financial Assistance
Students enrolled in SSMP may be eligible for a semesterly stipend totaling up to $64,000 in exchange for a minimum 8-year commitment in the Navy Reserves.
