Operating in compliance with federal regulations the TAMMA Corps of Cadets balance demanding university academics with strict accountability standards, regular military-style formations, and professional development blocks.

The Foundation of the Corps

At the Texas A&M Maritime Academy, the Corps of Cadets is structured into distinct Companies, the foundational units where leadership is forged, lifelong bonds are secured, and accountability is practiced daily.

Much more than just housing arrangements, these companies serve as self-governing, tight-knit communities. Led by senior cadet officers, every company establishes its own culture of academic achievement, physical readiness, and operational discipline under the watchful guidance of the Commandant's staff.
