Corps of Cadets
The Texas A&M Maritime Academy Corps of Cadets is a living and learning community whose mission is to develop leaders of character dedicated to the greater good. The TAMMA Corps of Cadets is rooted in the values of the University: Respect, Excellence, Leadership, Loyalty, Integrity and Selfless Service. The TAMMA Corps of Cadets consists of Merchant Mariner License Option Cadets, Drill and Ceremony Cadets, who join for the leadership training and structure the Corps provides, and Naval ROTC Cadets, which provides the opportunity for qualified cadets to commission and serve in the U.S. Navy. Cadets also have the option to direct commission into the U.S. Coast Guard.
